THE STORY

Cut off from reinforcements the Khan stakes everything on a single shocking counter-offensive. His goal? Nothing less than the liberation of the Lion's Gate space port. To reclaim this
facility might shift the balance of the entire siege – but one of the Khan's fallen brothers lies in wait and Mortarion Lord of the Death Guard leads forces transformed by gifts both foul
and unnatural. As the White Scars ride out against the newly crowned lords of life and death they know that defeat will doom not only the Legion but Terra itself.
